Welcome to the Christmas Artisan Fair!
Join us for our annual Christmas Artisan Fair, the perfect place to find that unique Christmas gift. Wander through the historic setting of Pencarrow and browse stalls featuring local Cornish crafters, makers, and artists offering everything from jewellery and ceramics to textiles and seasonal treats. We have so many wonderful stalls that we can’t wait for you to see!
Enjoy festive snacks and drinks, including mulled wine and mince pies, available in the Peacock Café throughout the weekend.
In the courtyard we will have a selection of food available including Squashed Tomato woodfired pizza, Cinnamon Fern (Crepes), Oishi Buns, Casita (mulled wine, chestnuts, toasted marshmallows) and Hungry Hog
The living Christmas Tree will be here on Saturday and is a wonderful sight to see
Our friendly traditional green Father Christmas will be around to welcome and chat
Hugs Foundation will be here with a few of their rescued ponies, all dressed in their festive gear as well as Screech Owl sanctuary where you will be able to meet some of the owls and Stinky Pete, the friendly polecat!
Entry price is £3.50 for adults and under 16’s are free
Open from 10.00 – 4.30pm (last entry is 4.00pm)
Here are some more bits of helpful information for you to plan your day:-
NO DOGS please – this is not a suitable event for dogs and the grounds will be closed for dog walkers
To help us with car parking it would be useful if you have access to a 4×4 vehicle to bring this as your choice of vehicle
Please can we ask you to be mindful of the vehicle you are arriving in and ask that you don’t bring a motorhome or large van
Please wear suitable footwear as it can get muddy
For disabled people there is a drop off point at the bottom of the drive but cars will have to be parked where there is a space available
There is no parking in the turning circle outside the house
Most stall holders will have card machine facilities but it is handy to bring cash too just in case technology lets us down!
For wheelchair users there is access to most of the fair through the front door, however there are two rooms on a lower level that the only access is a small set of stairs. To access the last two rooms would require exiting through the front door and back to the cafe and the courtyard
The stalls are inside the house on the ground floor and then access into the food marquee and the crafters tent. There are no stalls outside on the lawns
We look forward to seeing you for what many people say is the start of their Christmas!
