| The Peacock Cafe, one of the original 17th century cottages, seats 60 people inside and outside there is a pleasant sheltered lawn with tables, chairs and sunshades. Close by is the children's play area, with Archie the pet rabbit, the guinea pigs, peacocks and guinea fowl. The largest room has an attractive vaulted brick ceiling and was probably originally the wash-house. The smaller room contains a most attractive painting by Lady Molesworth, depicting an afternoon tea party and croquet game in Victorian times. All lunches and teas are freshly prepared to order and we use Cornish fare wherever possible. Items on the menu may vary depending on season and supply. |
