The tour continued...
The famous mile long Carriage Drive, lined with numerous specimen conifers, Rhododendrons and Camellias, was first laid out and planted in 1842.

Pencarrow contains numerous outstanding specimen trees and shrubs. Many of the broadleaf trees and flowering shrubs that can be seen here are too tender to be grown in any part of Britain save the far West.

In the courtyard at the rear of the house are three seventeenth-century cottages, one of which has been converted into Tea Rooms.

Surrounded by Peacocks and other birds, you will find one of our cream teas to be a most enjoyable end to your day at Pencarrow.
